Our concept starts with the PV modules, mounting structure and inverter already on the roof. We assess the existing system before recommending any motion hardware.
Mechanical engineering
Moving structures require an understanding of clamps, mounting rails, structural support, geometry, motors, bearings, loads and weather conditions.
Intelligent control
Motion is useful only when it is measured and controlled. Position feedback, limits, fault handling and maintainability are part of the design conversation.
Built on assessment, not assumptions
Every rooftop is different. Feasibility, estimated energy gains, cost, structural suitability and installation scope must be determined for the actual site. MySunDirection is developing its retrofit approach with this engineering-first principle.
